FAQ
Most frequent questions and answers
Very often, when you see a beautiful picture on Instagram, especially from brands accounts, there is a content stylist involved.
A content stylist is the person who makes sure the content that’s gonna be shot is aesthetic and aligned with the brand identity. That includes: setting the palette color for the photo, the kind of light, the angle, selecting the products & props so they will match, arranging the products & props, giving headlines for the editing.
The content stylist does her/his magic before the picture is taken. That means working closely with the photographer, or being the photographer.
Content styling is creating « the scene » for the photographer to shoot. This involves choosing the color palette, background, light, products, props and arrange them until it perfectly matches.
Content creation is using existing pictures & stock photos from a brand, to create a visual library matching its identity & aesthetics. It also implies creating feeds, using that library.

I have a Bachelor degree in Psychology & a Master degree in Human resources. I also studied Communication in a private school.
Before becoming a free-lancer, I was an HR Manager for more than 6 years, in France & in the U.A.E.
In January 2018, I decided to change career and started my free-lance activity. I started as a social media consultant, then became brand content consultant. And, at the same time, I developed my talent as content stylist & brand identity.
I’ve always been a creative person. As a teenager, I wanted to study photography and cinema. But life – and my parents mostly – convinced me not to do so. So I found another path, oriented towards human beings & their well being at work.
But after a while I started to question my choice to become an HR manager. I wished for a more creative job. And then, when I got pregnant, I had to lie down for the last 4 months. I was obviously bored and started to craft: photography, knitting, sewing, embroidering, and so on. And I loved it! At the same time, I helped some friends who just launched a new business with their social media.
So, when I got fired at the end of my maternity leave (classy), I decided I needed some time to figure out what I wanted to do. I was certain I didn’t want to go back to HR. A ex-colleague had started her own business and needed some help with brand identity & social media, so I decided to go for it. And here I am!
